***Social media account managing and posts***

I took a marketing course at CUHK with an assignment of creating and running a brand new Facebook account. I chose to build an account dedicated to sharing my browsing history with personal anecdotes and comments called 留覽紀錄 “Browse My Browse History” . The account was built on three principles:

  1. Efficiency: To manage the account alongside a heavy workload, I designed post templates with Adobe AI for quick modifications and maintained a conversational tone close to my daily private social media content, ensuring minimal effort without compromising quality.
  2. Impression-leaving: I tried to have my work stand out to the professor through choosing this highly personalized approach. And by choosing to create content based off my browse history, I also earned a great room of freedom to effectively respond to trends which helps leave a memorable impression.
  3. Value Beyond the Assignment: Another crucial factor of my decision behind creating this personalized account was to help myself connect with acquaintances. Through sharing my daily life, I wish to provide conversation starters for reconnecting with those I care about but grew apart with. I believe this reflects my tendency to think beyond immediate goals and make the most out of the resources.

I think this project could help showcase my skills in strategic planning, content creation, branding, and being goal-oriented, while reflecting my ability to balance creativity with efficiency—key qualities for marketing roles.

Mock-up social media posts

As a member of the 180DC social consulting team at CUHK, I created designs tailored to a client’s brand identity. By incorporating brand colors, tone, and client feedback, I successfully delivered cohesive designs that aligned with their vision. This experience honed my ability to interpret client needs, adapt to brand guidelines, and deliver high-quality results—skills that I believe marketing and design roles require.

Other design works

Works created using Adobe PS and AI.

In addition to proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop through self-teaching, I also self-taught Cinema 4D (C4D) with hopes to expand my design capabilities. Below are some of my trial projects which I hope help showcase my proactiveness and ability to quickly learn new tools.
